OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE

INSPIRED BY NATURE

Silica (silicon dioxide) is one of the most abundant minerals on earth and widely used across industries. In nature, plants such as grasses incorporate dissolved silica into their cell walls, forming a natural composite that enhances strength and resilience.

We translate this principle into paper: integrating inorganic silica into the cellulose fiber network to stabilize the structure, even in wet conditions.

APPLICABILITY

The technology is highly flexibel and can be applied with conventional coating methods found in the paper industry, such as film press, size press, spray coating or even printing methods like flexography.

CeraSleeve® can be utilized on a wide range of fibers - virgin fibers as well as secondary fibers - and is applicable on wet and dry substrates.

KEY FEATURES

CeraSleeve® suits a wide range of paper types without compromising performance.

Unlike traditional paper additives, our purely inorganic silica coating avoids contamination of process and wastewater, providing a greener alternative that aligns with environmental regulations.
